It’s Been A While…The Best College Classifieds Is Here.

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

We have not updated our blog for quite some time. Since our last post, we’ve been busy with updating the website and preparing marketing strategies for the Spring 2010 semester. We have some big ideas and are excited about the future. From the very beginning, we have attempted to create the best college classifieds website on the internet. We believe that we have the design, usability, and features necessary for college students to easily create classified ads. Keep checking back for more updates!

Revitalized College Classifieds

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

I can just see the headlines. Coming Soon: Revitalized College Classifieds. Well that is precisely what we at TCL are trying to bring to the college front of the web. We may not be the first to the scene, but we like to think that we’re the first to do it right! Now, I would be crazy to make such a statement, had I nothing to back me up. So to be fair to the users of our growing community, watch as we continue to roll out updates and features throughout the school year. We want to keep you engaged with a website that will have you saying, “I wish The Campus List was around when I was a Freshman!” (more…)

We have about a week left before we officially launch The Campus List. We all have been working hard preparing the website and our student reps. Every day there are new fixes and updates…it’s very exciting.

With the new school semester starting soon, we want to begin getting the word out about The Campus List! We are currently on an assortment of social networks including Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace. So please feel free to become a friend… or send us a tweet. We will use the networks to update you on recent posted ads, college tips, and other randomness.

Updates from the Founding Father

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

We are slowly moving from making the site functional to editing, strategical thinking, and monetizing the site. I think it will be a breath of fresh air to begin moving our site towards the next stages. While we still have a substantial amount of work and thinking to do on our student rep process and advertising links…the light is slowly growing at what is now been a 5 month project.
Keep checking the blog and we will let you know when are next feature is completed.

This Weeks Priorities: Rep and Refine

Monday, June 15th, 2009

With about 7 weeks left we have quite a few things left on the “list” to finish and polish. Tanner will be finishing up the process for becoming and accepting student reps. Student reps are a huge part of The Campus List structure. We want to have a personal voice on every campus that markets and communicates this website to the student body. I would say its pretty fun job, and better yet you can earn cash! If you want to learn more please check out this page.

This week we will also start making refinements, fixing errors, and getting everything perfected for launch. As you can see the structure of the website is pretty much done ( I would say 85% complete), so were getting close.

Mitch Wysong has also been diligently working on some business priorities. I will be the first to admit, I am not the best with numbers and legal matters, but Mitch knows his stuff.

Well, thats this weeks agenda: ill keep you updated on how we do throughout the week.

Launch: August 1, 2009

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

On August 1st, 2009 we will be launching The Campus List to the public. This new and innovative college classifieds website has been created by students, for students. Our team (Mitch, Cameron, Wes, and Adam) have been working extensively for months to bring you a modern designed, easy to use, and most importantly “free” college classifieds website. We are excited to blog the last few months before our launch with updates of our progress. Please help us out and spread the word!

Thanks You!
